||1. Using a filter needle, withdraw required amount of vitamin K1 then remove filter needle and transfer to a glass amber bottle.
2. QS to final volume with simple syrup and mix well.
||Sterile water can be used instead of Simple Syrup, but stability is 28 days at room temperature.
Preparation in sterile water is PREFERRED for neonates corrected age 28 days or less and patients on ketogenic diet.
Only use Sandoz brand (formerly SABEX brand) of Vitamin K1.
