Directions: HAZARDOUS - CYTOTOXIC
Refer to the AHS Hazardous Medication Handling Guide for more information.

1. In a mortar, crush tablets and triturate into a fine powder.
2. Gradually levigate powder with HSC vehicle until a liquid is formed.
3. Pour into a graduated cylinder.
4. Rinse mortar and qs to final volume with HSC vehicle.
5. Transfer to final container and label.

Stability of 60 days refrigerated was assigned to follow the same expiration date as Azathioprine 50 mg/mL oral suspension, even though one reference (Nahata et al) assigned an arbitrary expiry date of 84 days refrigerated (not based on any stability studies).

May substitute HSC suspending vehicle with Ora-Blend®.

Refrigerated storage is preferred.
