Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. Weigh sodium citrate dihydrate powder and dissolve in some of the water.
2. Add simple syrup.
3. QS to final volume with water.
3. Transfer to final container(s) and label.

Notes To be prepared ONLY in the event that the commercial product is NOT available.

Sodium Citrate 0.3 M compounded/ manufactured oral solution is non-formulary.
Refer to Sodium Citrate manufactured 0.3 M oral solution.

Can substitute sodium citrate dihydrate with sodium citrate anhydrous.
NOTE: Sodium citrate dihydrate 8.82 grams = sodium citrate anhydrous 7.74 grams.
