Carmustine Ointment   0.4%

    carmustine  100 mg/vial  INJ   
    Absolute Alcohol (supplied with Carmustine vials)       
    petrolatum  100%  UNG

Refer to the AHS Hazardous Medication Handling Guide for more information.

1. Weigh required amount of petrolatum into an ointment jar.
2. Soften petrolatum with tongue depressor.
3. Reconstitute each vial of carmustine with 3 mL of absolute alcohol supplied with drug.
4. Withdraw drug from vial(s) and gradually levigate into petrolatum until completely mixed.
5. Clean outside of ointment jar, close with lid and label.
