Directions: HAZARDOUS - Reproductive
Refer to the AHS Hazardous Medication Handling Guide for more information.

1. Dissolve bosentan tablet(s) in water.
2. Transfer to final container and label.

Notes Crushing of the tablets is not recommended. Use a commercial pill cutter to cut unscored tablets if necessary to split tablets.

Bosentan tablets should not be mixed or dissolved in liquids with a low (acidic) pH (i.e. fruit juices) due to poor stability; the drug is most soluble in solutions with a pH >8.5.

The final product can be stored in an amber glass bottle or packaged in syringes.
