Vancomycin Oral Suspension in Medisca Oral Syrup   50 mg/mL
Lot No Expiry(mm/yyyy) Ingredients Master Formula
    vancomycin  10 g  INJ   
    Water, sterile       Use to reconstitute vancomycin vials 
    Medisca Oral Syrup (Flavored Vehicle)    SYRUP  qs to 
Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. Reconstitute vancomycin vial with sterile water.
2. Withdraw reconstituted vancomycin from vials and add Medisca Oral Syrup vehicle.
3. Qs to final volume with vehicle. Mix well.
4. Transfer to final container and label.

Notes Storage information:
  • Amber PET bottle: 90 days at 4oC or 36 days at 25oC
  • PreciseDose Dispenser Amber plastic syringe: 90 days at 4oC or 30 days at 25oC

    Auxiliary Labels: Can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated
