Ethambutol Oral Liquid   100 mg/mL

Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. In a mortar, crush tablets and triturate to a fine powder.
2. Gradually levigate powder with Ora-Blend® until a smooth paste is formed. Add more vehicle to the paste until a liquid is formed.
3. Pour into a graduated cylinder.
4. Use vehicle to rinse mortar and qs to final volume.
5. Transfer to final container and label.

Notes Original referenced recipe used Ora-Plus® / Ora-Sweet SF® (1:2). Due to availability, Ora-Blend® has been substituted.

May substitute Ora-Blend® with Ora-Plus® : Ora-Sweet SF® (1:1).

Ora-Sweet SF® and Ora-Blend SF® should not be used in neonates less than or equal to 28 days corrected age.
