PHENYLephrine Nasal Drops   0.25%

    phenylephrine  2.5%  OP DROPS   
    sodium chloride  0.9%  INJ  qs to 
Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. Measure required amount of PHENYLephrine 2.5% eye drops in a graduated device (syringe or small cylinder).
2. QS to final volume with normal saline.
3. Mix with a glass stirring rod.
4. Transfer 5 mL into a glass dropper bottle. (see recipe notes)

Notes Phenylephrine may be prepacked into plastic containers and placed in UV sleeves and heat seal. However, since this drug is subject to oxidation on exposure to air, it is important that the final product is prepackaged into the smallest container possible.

Water-containing topical/dermal, mucosal liquid and semi-solid formulations The BUD is not later than 30 days.
