Procarbazine Oral Liquid   10 mg/mL

    procarbazine  50 mg  CAP   
    glycerin  100%  PO SOLN   
    Cherry syrup      QS (RTU)

Prepare in BSC and refer to the AHS Hazardous Medication Handling Guide for more information.

1. Empty the contents of the required number of procarbazine 50 mg capsules into a mortar.
2. Add the required amount of glycerin and mix to a thick uniform paste.
3. Add 10 mL cherry syrup in incremental proportions; mix until uniform.
4. Transfer the mixture to an amber glass bottle and rinse mortar with small amounts of syrup; add rinses to the bottle in sufficient quantity to make up the total volume.
5. Wipe product(s) down with suitable cleaning agent prior to removal from the BSC.
