Sulfamethoxazole / Trimethoprim Oral Suspension   40 mg-8 mg/mL

Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. Weigh out powders.
2. In a mortar, mix sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim powders using a pestle.
3. Add Oral Mix SF using geometric dilution.
4. QS to final volume with Oral Mix SF.

Notes • May also use Oral Mix vehicle (sugar-containing).
• May be stored in amber plastic bottles OR in amber plastic oral syringes.

• This new recipe replaces the prior, archived recipe which used tablets.
