Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. Withdraw required amount of furosemide into a syringe and transfer to a graduated cylinder.
2. QS to final volume with water.
3. Transfer to final container and label.

Strength of compounded formulation is different than the commercial preparation.
This strength is non-formulary.
Refer to Furosemide oral solution in AHS Provincial Formulary.

Assign expiry date using USP 795 Guidelines.
795 guidelines: Water-Containing Formulations:
The beyond-use date is not later than 14 days for liquid preparations when stored at cold temperature between 2C - 8C.
