Nystatin Oral Suspension - Sugar Free   100,000 units/mL

    Methylparaben     PWD   
    Propylparaben    PWD   
    Water, sterile       qs to 
Recipe Total Quantity:
Final Quantity Desired: mL

Directions: 1. Weigh and combine powders.
2. QS to required volume with water.

Notes Nystatin POWDER should be packaged in tight, light-resistant containers and stored in fridge. After opening, potency can be guaranteed for 90 days after which it should be discarded. If brown discoloration occurs, discard powder as this indicates chemical decomposition.

Strength of nystatin powder varies with each batch. Calculate quantity of powder required to make 100,000 units/mL with each batch.

Nystatin powder must not be less than 5,000 units/mg strength.
